Behind The Badge: Holland Cooper

Championing British made tailoring; we go behind the badge with Holland Cooper. Joining forces with the founder Jade Holland Cooper. Discover how this luxurious fashion house was founded and the customers the brand appeals to: Whether it be for the city or country life.

Where did it all begin?

Whilst studying at the royal agricultural college, I saw a gap in the market for really cool country clothing as I was going to so many of the events myself and could not find anything to wear.

Who wears Holland Cooper?

We provide a lifestyle, full circle brand for so many different women whether they have city life, country lives. This includes businesswomen to stay at home mums. There is such a wide consumer base that the brand has developed.

What do you set out to achieve at Holland Cooper?

What we are trying to do at Holland Cooper is build classics for the customers wardrobe, pieces that are never going to go out of date. Rather than following trends we create timeless designs.

How does it feel to see the public wearing your designs?

It never ever fails to give me that butterfly feeling. Wherever I may be, and I see someone wearing the product, I always get that really excited feeling where I want to rush up to them and say you’re wearing Holland Cooper. Whenever you see the brand, whether it be with the press or high-profile celebrities it is a proud moment.

Why did you introduce the Equestrian collection?

Similar to the way I noticed a gap in the market for Holland Cooper, the Equestrian line was introduced last year in 2018 as a fashionable yet functional alternative to the Equestrian products already out there. The aim was to create a super stylish technical range.

What are your favourite pieces from the current SS20 collection?

It has to be the luxury shirt or the range of t-shirts. We spent a long time developing the t-shirt designs to get the fabric and fit just right. They are super soft, feel incredible on and are an amazing price point: a forever piece in your wardrobe.
