London Food Guide: Beer Gardens To Try When They Reopen

The Beer Gardens are officially back, but no surprise, space is looking tight. Boris Johnson confirmed that “outdoor hospitality of all kinds” will be permitted from April 12 and London’s best beer terraces and beer gardens are already looking full to bursting. While social distancing measures will remain in place and drinkers will have to stick to the rule of six, the good news is that there will be no curfews and no requirement to eat while drinking.

We’ve rounded up a London Food Guide of the best Beer Gardens to try when they reopen and they look like they are all ready for us!

Avalon

First on our list is Avalon. The Avalon’s alfresco options comprise lively front and side terraces and a massive garden at the rear – it’s beautifully landscaped, full of families on sunny days, and also boasts a dedicated bar and kitchen that serve up summer cocktails and grilled meats. Heated areas, secluded booths, and plentiful greenery clinch the deal.

The Hawk’s Nest

The perfect spot for outdoor dining in London, this Shepherd’s Bush nest is bringing you the goods this spring and summer in the form of fully-heated, socially distant seating, as well as tasty gourmet pizzas, craft beer and cocktails.

Barrio Shoreditch

A little slice of paradise in the heart of East London, Barrio Shoreditch is a taste of all things tropical without the daunting price tag. Options of South America meet the South Pacific, expect heated spaces, covered nooks and sunshine spots in both winter and summer.

Kindred

One of the best beer gardens in West London, Kindred’s stylish outdoor space is perfect for after-work drinks or summer date nights. Located by the station, this restaurant and bar is keeping you watered and fed with tasty cocktails and drinks and a range of tasty bites.
