Our Favourite Rooftop Locations

Our Favourite Rooftop Locations

Now that summer is in full swing, make sure you get out and enjoy the weather in your downtime. This week, we wanted to share our favourite rooftop bar locations in some of the UK’s biggest cities. There is something for everyone, so here is a selection of our favourite destinations…

London

Culpeper Roof Garden

This great rooftop bar is based in Whitechapel on Commercial Street. It is the perfect hideaway which offers plenty of green in a city that lacks so much of it. The garden is used to grow vegetables and herbs which feature on the food menu! Pull up a chair at one of their rustic tables and sample some of their incredible cocktails in the sun!

The Queen Of Hoxton

Based in Shoreditch, this pub, club and everything in between offers a mix of DJs, film nights, fringe theatre and of course, amazing food and drinks. This rooftop is huge and has a great atmosphere. In the winter they even put up a wigwam to make sure you are warm and cosy during the colder months.

Sheffield

INC

Situated in Kelham Island, INC is a unique rooftop bar that is made entirely from upcycled shipping containers. This edgy bar offers cocktails, craft beer and more. It also has one of the largest gin selections available in Sheffield. INC is a surprisingly cosy venue that is a great hideout, accompanied by brilliant views of the city.

Manchester

Terrace NQ

Here we have a rooftop gem that is hidden away in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. On a sunny day, this garden is a breath of fresh air with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The bar offers some of the best drinks in town that can be enjoyed whilst listening to a great playlist.

20 Stories

We can’t forget to mention the iconic 20 Stories which is situated in Spinningfields. From lunch to dinner and lots of drinks in between, the bar provides live music, a beautiful garden and scales 20 floors high. It offers unparalleled views of Manchester meaning that you can have a great time against the backdrop of the dynamic city.

Birmingham

The Button Factory

This venue is a renovated Victorian factory which now houses a contemporary restaurant featuring drinks and Robata grills. The atmosphere is great and is all wrapped up in a crispy, stylish interior. Perfect for a sunny day, the terrace is a sun trap that attracts those who are looking for a ‘no fuss’ destination to sit back and relax.
