Paris Fashion Week Men’s: Maison Kitsune AW19 Show

One of the most highly anticipated shows of Paris Fashion Week Men’s was the Maison Kitsune Men’s and Women’s wear show. With ex Celine designer Yuni Ahn, now joining the team as creative director alongside Gildas Loaec, previously the manager of daft punk and architect Masaya Kuroki. The Maison Kitsune boiler room show was one not to be missed.

Fashion conscious fans began to gather outside 35 Rue Laffitte, in high anticipation of Kitsune’s boiler night event. The crowds waited in anticipation not knowing what to expect from the contemporary Parisian fashion brand and music label that is Maison Kitsune. Upon arrival into the dimly lit boiler style room, guests were greeted with drinks, DJ, gift bags and more! The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and cool. The brand is known for blending fashion alongside music and it was only appropriate that the collection was shown in a boiler room style rave.

Crowds gathered around the DJ decks whilst the models revolved around the DJ, showcasing the latest AW19 collection in a playful way. The collection was bold, distinctive and unique. The Maison Kitsune logo was predominant on the lines, featuring graphic prints and vibrant designs. This was a classical addition to the collection, keeping it true to the brand but fresh. The show featured clothing customers want to wear and branded with the logo that they want to be seen in.

Evolving from casual basics the Men’s and Women’s collection featured understated pieces and clean-cut lines, which were layered to create an oversized and easy minimalistic look. Kitsune did not disappoint and with the number of crowds that stayed for the entire duration, we are pretty sure the brand will only continue to grow.

Expect bold prints and eye-catching designs from Maison Kitsune, new lines coming soon to Tessuti.
