The Batman

An old friend returns with a new face as Robert Pattinson stars as The Batman. Based in his second year of crime fighting, Batman faces The Riddler as Gotham’s elite suffer at the mercy of the cryptic serial killer whilst unearthing corruption lines that cross his own family, Batman is forced into building new alliances in order to bring justice back to Gotham City.

The Black Phone

An adaptation from Joe Hill’s 2004 short story, The Black Phone is an American supernatural horror film set in 1970’s Colorado. After five children go missing in a suburban town, Finney Shaw is next in line and is kidnapped by a serial killer and trapped in a soundproof basement. Finding a disconnected phone, Finney works on piecing together the voices of the five victims as they try to help him escape. At the same time, his sister’s vivid dreams uncover hidden secrets that may help her find her brother.

Don’t Worry Darling

If you have a penchant for psychological thrillers, Don’t Worry Darling is for you. Directed by Olivia Wilde, set in 1950’s America , an unhappy housewife living in an experimental utopian community discovers a disturbing truth whilst her husband, Harry styles, attempts to keep a dark secret hidden. Wilde recently characterised Don’t Worry Darling to Vogue as “the feminine mystique on acid”. Perfection.
