Dance music wouldn’t be the same without the Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, with his Vegas residency as well as endless Ibiza seasons at super-clubs Amnesia and Ushuaia. Some of his most notable tracks include collaborations with Rhianna, Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding to name a few. From bursting onto the dance scene with ‘Acceptable In The 80’s’ this is one acclaimed DJ to be added to your playlist.

When you think of Scotland, there’s only one artist that should spring to mind and that is the social media favourite: Lewis Capaldi. Known just as much for his social media banter as his critically acclaimed song-writing skills such as ‘Someone You Loved’ and ‘Hold Me While You Wait’.

More than 20 years into their career, if you want rock n roll, there is none quite like Primal Scream. An indie band to produce some of the most defining soundtracks of acid house, the biggest youth defining culture since the punk era. Our favourite track comes in the form of ‘Moving On Up’ to unite us all, especially in the unprecedented COVID climate. This is one track to add to your playlist.

Last up is the Scottish founded, Snow Patrol, who rose to international fame with the hit single ‘Chasing Cars’. Nominated for x3 Brit awards these are one indie inspired bands to have on your radar.
