The Italian menswear brand Stone Island has built up a loyal and dedicated fan base and over the years.  Anyone from director Steven Spielberg to former Barcelona and current Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola has worn the iconic compass patch. Stone Island may well be highly-regarded for its outerwear, but it’s the denim that we want to talk about first.

We take our denim seriously. The jeans from Stone Island have long been a favourite of ours because we understand how important your daily denim is. Stone Island stick vehemently to its ethos of using innovative fabrics and methods to create its outerwear garments and its denim is no different.

Firstly, there’s a lot to consider when picking a pair of jeans. There’s the fit – skinny or tapered for a closer cut, straight leg or regular for a more relaxed fit. Secondly, the length of the jeans is crucial to finding the right fit, our Stone Island denim comes with a regular leg and now a longer leg – handy if you like rolling your jeans up or are blessed with long legs. Thirdly, there’s the wash: a dark wash like an everyday black or an indigo can work for the winter months. A lighter wash like a stonewash can be the colour to compliment lighter tones throughout the summer.

Our hand-selected collection of Stone Island jeans is premium denim that you can wear whatever the situation or occasion – summer BBQs, garden parties or afternoons in the beer garden. If you’re like us – it’s a pair of dependable black jeans you turn to more often than not, then the Gaberdine (250714) should be given serious consideration. Gaberdine is a soft, smooth twill-woven cotton that’s perfect for all-day comfort.

If you like your denim with a bit of character like a contrasting stitch orange stitch – take the Slim Fit Jeans Long (110964) or for a summertime feel then Vintage Wash Skin Stretch Jean (250718) are the one.

Innovative fabrics and methods are key to the way Stone Island create its outerwear. Stone Island’s Nylon Metal Overshirt (288841) is a prime example. The trademark metallic sheen is the work of the trilobate structure of the nylon yarn with its grey and white weft. The garments are then dyed to give the distinctive iridescent colour we’ve become accustomed to seeing from Stone Island.
