The capital of cool, Berlin is one of Germany’s trendiest cities. The must-sees are of course the iconic architectural masterpieces. The city is known for creativity and culture, so why not head to the East Side gallery? Encompassing a series of murals painted on the Berlin wall, from artists across all the world. This mile-long stretch of the Berlin wall is one of the largest remaining portions of the former divide between East and West Germany. The gallery is the perfect sight to showcase colourful and imaginative works from both local and international artists.

Take in the city by night and head to the Monkey Bar, which offers great views of the capital including the Berlin Zoo. This open roof terrace with a sophisticated cocktail menu, is an ideal place to unwind before an evening of unforgettable partying. Berlin’s nightlife scene and club culture is not to be missed. 24-hour parties are the norm, with underground basements, abandoned buildings and quirky bars taking over the city by night. Berlin is famous for its nightlife and is the ideal setting for a memorable night in the capital. We recommend you head to the Berghain, easily the city’s most famous club – and some would say the best club in the world. Or why not try the Tresor? Formerly the main central-heating power station for East Berlin, this will most likely be an evening that will last until the following afternoon.
