The Month Of The Spiced Latte: Best Coffee Shops In Manchester

To coincide with the launch of our latest Winter campaign ‘Never Bound by Boundaries’ we are hosting a coffee shop tour in collaboration with Essential Journal, in our Tessuti stores. Guest speakers such as Jade Holland Cooper and Ben Rose will be discussing fashion related topics alongside freshly brewed coffee for attendees to enjoy. In celebration of this, and to give you some further coffee inspiration, we’re taking a look at some of the best coffee shops in Manchester.

Siop Shop

Famed for their donuts, Siop Shop is a must if you enjoy a sweet treat with your coffee. An unfussy coffee spot, the décor is kept simple to showcase the art that lines the walls created by local artists. This is a café come art gallery. Perfect for the person who wants culture and coffee. Located on Tib Street this is one not to miss. Take a look at their Instagram for some incredible looking coffee shop treats (@siopshop)

If you like the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee on a Sunday morning, then Pollen is the place for you. Located in Ancoats, this is a popular spot for those who like to treat themselves on a weekend to some freshly baked produce. Strong, punchy coffee is served alongside their famous cruffin, a hybrid of croissant and muffin that is impossible not to love.

This a coffee spot where everything from their special sourdoughs to the preserves that accompany it, are lovingly handmade in-house, using organic ingredients and locally sourced produce. The walls are lined with triple height windows and the interior boasts minimal, Scandi décor to create a comfortable and cosy coffee experience. Try their house espresso for their distinctive take on coffee on the go.

Pot Kettle Black

Located in Spinning-fields, Pot Kettle Black was launched by rugby league stars, Jon Wilkin and Mark Flanagan in 2014. Since then, it has become so popular amongst Mancunians that it now has two different sites, one in Deansgate and one in Spinning-fields. Their concept for the modern and stylish coffee shop is based on Australian coffee culture where coffee is rooted in quality rather than convenience. Because of this, they do all the hard work to create coffee that is meticulously made to satisfy every coffee lover’s tastes.
